Honey Peanut Butter S’mores Bars

I think we ate this pan of Honey Peanut Butter S’mores Bars in about 2 days. Just the two of us. I never realized such an easy treat could be so good! I kept these in the fridge for a cold treat. KEY ingredient is the Old Home Foods Honey Creamy Peanut Butter. It is my all time favorite peanut butter. That added sweetness of honey puts it over the top!

This recipe is sponsored by Old Home Foods but all opinions are 100% my own based on experience.

I’ve always loved Old Home’s traditional creamy peanut butter, but after someone recommended the honey variety…I became addicted! That touch of sweetness just makes it such a treat…I’ve eaten a spoonful just for a snack. This version of peanut butter works perfect for these bars because there is also honey in the cereal used.

These Honey Peanut Butter S’mores Bars come together in no time. All you need is butter, marshmallows, peanut butter, cereal, and mini chocolate chips. I think the peanut butter really makes these, they just wouldn’t be the same without it. I also highly recommend storing in the fridge and enjoying chilled. Something about them cold was super delicious!

I made them in a square pan for a thicker bar. If you want a thinner bar, and for them to go further you can use a 9×13-inch pan.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 10 oz mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup Old Home Foods Honey Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 6 cups Golden Graham cereal
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips divided

Instructions

  1. In a large microwavable bowl, add butter and peanut butter, microwave for about 45 seconds. Stir in marshmallows and microwave for another 60-90 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds until melted. Stir in cereal. Stir in MOST of the mini chocolate chips, reserving a few to sprinkle on top.

  2. Spray a square 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch pan with non-stick cooking spray. You can use a 9×13 for thinner bars. Press mixture firmly into greased pan. Sprinkle with remaining mini chocolate chips. Chill in refrigerator until set. Cut into desired number of squares, enjoy!

Recipe Notes

I used a square pan for thicker bars. Use a 9×13-inch rectangle pan for thinner bars. Delicious served chilled, or room temp and gooey!
