Idaho Nachos
Not just regular nachos…these are Idaho Nachos! Also known as, nachos made with waffle fries instead of chips. So yummy, easy to make, and perfect for a game day at home.
This post is sponsored by Kemps® but all opinions are 100% my own.

Here’s what you need:
- waffle fries
- taco seasoned ground beef
- shredded cheese
- lettuce
- tomatoes
- olives
- scallions
- Kemps® Mexican style sour cream
- avocado
- salsa
- hot sauce
These Idaho Nachos are perfect for a family night in, or game day weekend. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love nachos! Make them your own by trying different proteins and adding your favorite toppings.

Once the waffle fries are baked, top with shredded cheese and seasoned beef, then throw them back in the oven just until the cheese is nice and melty. I love the combination of potatoes with a sharp cheddar cheese so that’s what I used.

Then just top with all your favorite fresh nacho toppings. Mine include shredded crisp lettuce, chopped scallions, diced tomatoes, black olives, and a hearty drizzle of Kemps® Mexican style sour cream. I love that you can actually drizzle it, and not just dollop. It’s a thinner consistency than traditional sour cream. Would be great for full coverage on tacos!

Some fun facts about this tasty Kemps® Mexican style sour cream:
- local family farmers since 1914
- it’s thinner than sour cream, but thicker than authentic crema
- pairs well with street tacos, nachos, enchiladas, grilled street corn, and of course, these Idaho Nachos!
- can be used in dips, salad dressings, and even casseroles
