Bacon Jam Burgers
These Bacon Jam Burgers are going to be a summer staple in our house! A must make after you make my Hot Honey Bacon Jam recipe.
If you don’t have it in you to make the jam, you could just make hot honey bacon…but why wouldn’t you just go all the way with it…I promise it’s worth it!
These burgers not only have a sweet and spicy bacon jam, but also a smoky chipotle garlic aioli that really pairs wonderfully with the bacon jam. I don’t add anything other than salt and pepper to the beef patties. I recommend using a good quality (local if possible) grass fed ground beef with at least 15-20% fat. This will guarantee a really flavorful burger!
The fixings are simple too, sharp cheddar cheese, juicy sliced tomatoes, and some shredded lettuce. I serve it up all on a toasted brioche bun. I usually just throw the buns under the broiler unless I have my outdoor grill going. These burgers can be made inside or outside. Just as tasty made in a skillet vs. a grill!
The garlic chipotle aioli doubles as an awesome fry dip too! Highly recommend doubling that recipe if you’re cooking up some fries. The aioli and bacon jam can be made ahead of time, even the day before. That way when you’re ready to whip up some burgers, it only take a few minutes to cook and assemble.
Can’t wait to hear what you think of these Bacon Jam Burgers! Hope you love them as much as we do! And if you’re making the Hot Honey Bacon Jam, you MUST make this BLT Bruschetta, SO GOOD!

Bacon Jam Burgers
The ultimate burger recipe using my Hot Honey Bacon Jam with all the fixings. Plus, a smoky chipotle aioli!
Ingredients
- 1 lb grass fed ground beef 80/10
- Salt and pepper
- 4 brioche hamburger buns toasted
- 4 tbsps hot honey bacon jam recipe linked in post
- 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
- Shredded lettuce
- Sliced tomato
For the chipotle aioli
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 2 chipotles in adobo
- 1 tbsp of the adodo sauce from chipotles
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- Juice of 1/2 a lime
- Pinch of salt
- Fresh cracked black pepper
Instructions
-
Add all ingredients for the chipotle aioli into a food processor, and pulse until well combined. If you do not have a food processor, mince the chipotles, and whisk all ingredients together. Chill until ready to use.
-
Preheat a grill or skillet over med-high heat. Form the ground beef into 4 burger patties. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper. Cook burgers for about 3-4 minutes on the first side, flip, and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until desired doneness. Cooking times will vary depending on how thin you make your patties, skillet temp, and desired internal temp.
-
Add cheese slices during the last minute of cooking to melt over patties.
Assembly
-
Spread chipotle aioli onto the bottom toasted bun. Spread hot honey bacon jam on the top toasted bun. Add lettuce to the bottom bun, then your burger, then tomatoes, and finally the top bun with the bacon jam. Dig in!
Recipe Notes
Chipotle aioli can be made ahead of time, and kept in the fridge for 3-5 days. It makes a great fry dip too!
