Waldorf Chicken Salad

A classic salad with chicken, apples, grapes, celery, and walnuts. Perfect in a wrap or lettuce cup for lunch!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken cubed
  • 1/2 cup grapes halved or quartered
  • 1/2 cup celery chopped
  • 1/2 cup apples chopped
  • 1/4 cup toasted walnuts chopped
  • 3 scallions sliced
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Miracle Whip
  • 1 1/2 tbsps lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp seasoned salt
  • Fresh cracked black pepper

Serving Suggestions

  • Lettuce cups
  • Large tortillas for wraps
  • Pita pocket bread
  • Crackers

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients into a large bowl and stir well to combine. Taste for seasoning and adjust salt and pepper accordingly. Best served chilled after about 30 minutes to allow flavors to combine.

Recipe Notes

You can use red or green grapes, or both! Same with apples, just use whatever is your favorite. I recommend toasting your walnuts, it just adds a nice depth of flavor. I do this in a small skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
