Cottage Cheese Berry Smoothie Bowls

A tasty protein packed smoothie bowl that you can make your own!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Old Home Foods Cottage Cheese
  • 1 cup frozen berries
  • Sweetener of choice optional
  • Granola
  • Toasted almonds
  • Fresh berries

Optional add-ins

  • Nut butter drizzle
  • Honey drizzle
  • Chia seeds

Instructions

  1. In a food processor or blender combine Old Home Foods Cottage Cheese and frozen berries. Blend until smooth. Blend in sweetener if desired (drizzle of honey or couple dashes of sugar). I found it was sweet enough after serving with fresh sweet berries!

  2. Divide mixture between two bowls. Top with fresh fruit, granola, and toasted nuts.

Recipe Notes

The frozen berries keep the cottage cheese mixture nice and firm and chilled. You could use fresh berries as well, but I did not test that version.

Your topping options are really endless! Use anything you like. Peanut butter, bananas, chopped peanuts, almond butter, chia seeds for extra fiber and protein, granola clusters, and any fruit you like.
