Idaho Nachos

Nachos but with waffle fries instead of chips! Topped with ground beef and all your favorite fixings. Perfect for game day.

Ingredients

  • 1 20 oz. bag frozen waffle fries
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 pkg taco seasoning + water
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Olives
  • Scallions
  • KempsĀ® Mexican style sour cream
  • Sliced avocado
  • Salsa
  • Hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Bake the waffle fries according to package instructions, or until desired crispness is reached.

  2. While the waffle fries are baking, brown the ground beef in a medium skillet breaking up with a wooden spoon until browned and cooked through. Stir in taco seasoning and water according on the taco packet instructions.

  3. Top the baked waffle fries with cheese and seasoned beef. Put back in the oven just until the cheese is melted. Top with desired fresh ingredients, and drizzle with KempsĀ® Mexican style sour cream.

Recipe Notes

These could be made with chicken, pork, or a meat-free alternative. Top with any veggies you like.
